Overview
North Newton School Corporation is seeking reliable and safety-minded individuals to join our team as School Bus Drivers. This position plays an important role in safely transporting students to and from school and school-related activities.
Responsibilities- Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers during transport.
- Perform required pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain student discipline and follow school policies.
- Part-time hours with morning and afternoon routes (additional trip opportunities may be available).
- Must possess or be able to obtain a CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements (training may be provided).
- Must pass background check, physical, and drug screen.
- Dependability, good communication skills, and strong commitment to student safety.
- Starting pay $23.00/hour after probationary period.
- Opportunities for additional driving assignments.
