Warehouse Shift Lead - Whiteland

Goodyear is hiring for a Warehouse Shift Lead to manage a wide range of warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control, utilizing WMS and maintaining records. The role involves supervising personnel (hourly and loading services), training tasks, and coordinating daily assignments to ensure a continuous flow of finished goods with the Transportation Department. The position requires prioritizing in/out-bound loading and reducing shipment errors through accurate cycle counting and row audits.

• Manage daily warehouse activities including organization, shipping finished goods, receiving, and inventory control using WMS.
• Supervise Warehouse Associates and coordinate with Warehouse Coordinator, Transportation Specialist, Inventory Specialist, Shift Supervisor, and Third-Party Suppliers/Contractors.
• Train personnel, distribute daily assignments, address and resolve issues, and support day-to-day operations.
• Prioritize inbound/outbound loading to ensure continuous flow of finished goods with the Transportation Department.
• Eliminate shipment errors through accurate cycle counting and row audits.
• Maintain punctuality and dependable attendance to support operations and team morale.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
• Required to lift heavy materials, stand, squat and bend with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must have Microsoft Office experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong inventory background
• Previous analytical experience
• Problem solving skills
• Experience working with a 3PL
• SAP and forklift experience

Hours could range from 5:30pm to 2:30am. Required OT daily and weekend as required by customer demand. Occasional weekend work based on volume.

Distribution Center in Whiteland, IN. Non-climate-controlled warehouse with temperature swings, forklift and pedestrian traffic, fumes, and noise. Safety is a priority; safety procedures/guidelines must be followed, including use of hearing protection, eye protection, and steel-toed shoes.
