Position:
Warehouse Worker. This role involves receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, performing inventory and quality control duties, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse in compliance with facility protocols and safety standards.
- Receive and inspect products, accurately label items and reconcile deliveries and invoices.
- Organize and store incoming products applying FIFO inventory controls for perishable goods.
- Operate manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts as required.
- Pick inventory to assemble orders for product, supplies, and equipment requisitions or par levels.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.
- Load, unload, and transport products and materials within the warehouse and to client locations using carts, PIV, or motor vehicles as necessary.
- Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on established schedules.
- Accurately complete administrative records such as inventory counts, temperature logs, spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and related business records (paper or technology-based).
- Clean assigned work areas including restrooms, break areas, loading dock, freight elevator and platform delivery areas when applicable.
- Implement all location safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures, using required PPE.
- Take appropriate measures for the security of client and company assets.
- Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business-related activities and attend meetings as required.
- Over 18 years of age.
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Preferably 2 years of prior warehouse experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and computer skills.
- Manual dexterity and ability to operate machinery.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lb with frequent lifting or carrying up to 35 lb.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for certain client locations (MVR screening applies).
This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking & standing. It may also require uniforms and/or protective equipment.
