The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. These Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned. Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality and comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Picking Responsibilities: Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders, efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in the appropriate areas. Stack, package, band, shrink wrap and label products as determined by client requirements. All picking functions processed as defined by SOP.
- Quality Control Responsibilities: Use documentation to ensure that products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly. Verify products meet quality standards, report damages or discrepancies. Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products as defined by SOP.
- Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance: Execute all safety protocols, maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area, assist in security, and comply with all SOP, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jack and other equipment safely, maintain equipment, report problems, and follow prescribed work methods. Assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Other Duties: Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.
Preferred: 6 months experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment. - Licenses or
Certifications:
None required. Current or prior MHE certification is preferred. - Computer
Skills:
None specified. - Language
Skills:
English (reading, writing, verbal). - Mathematical
Skills:
Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities, count inventory, and perform related duties. - Other: Strong attention to detail, ability to perform duties with minimal supervision, adapt to change, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Occasionally:

Walking and Standing. - Ability to lift/carry and push/pull: 21-50 pounds. Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
