2nd shift Warehouse Associates

Kelly Services is looking to hire several Site Logistics Operators/Material Handlers in Knoxville, TN for an industry leading chemical company. For this opportunity, you could be placed as a Chemical Finished Product Operator or a Polymers Packaging/Warehousing/Shipping Operator on a long-term, indefinite assignment. You will be working with chemicals and should be comfortable doing such - either with previous experience or the willingness to learn.

Kelly Services is looking for 2nd shift Warehouse Associates for a client in Whitestown, IN!

Job Duties:

• Pick items on the pick ticket quickly and accurately.
• Ensure the items picked are correct, verifying unit of measure, size, and quantity.
• Pack customer orders with care.
• Meet all required shipping deadlines.
• Receive and check incoming freight; resolve any discrepancies.
• Stock and rotate inventory to ensure the shortest dated items are at the front.
• Process customer and vendor returns.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts when needed.
• Comply with all applicable federal and state laws.
• Replenish packing supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse/distribution experience is preferred.
• Mobility to continually walk and stand; pull orders from various shelf height.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and 50 lbs on occasion is required.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Possess number recognition skills.
• Have good hand/eye coordination.
• Good customer service skills and a sense of urgency are required.
• Computer knowledge is helpful.

Hours:

• Sunday - Thursday (Sun: 8:30am - Finish, usually 9-10 hour shifts; Mon: 1pm - Finish, usually 12 hour shifts; Tues-Thu: 1:30pm - Finish, usually 10-11 hour shifts)

Must be able to work required overtime.

$13/hr.
