Material Handler, Forklift Operator, General Labor
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, tracking, and shipment of materials throughout the facility. This role supports daily operations by ensuring accurate inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and clear communication with team members and managers.
Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
Receive, inspect, and ship supplies and materials in accordance with company procedures
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
Drive a box truck for local deliveries and pickups (no CDL required)
Transport materials between storage, production, and shipping areas
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
Label, stock, count, and record inventory; report shortages or discrepancies
Maintain accurate inventory records using internal systems (ERP experience a plus)
Perform basic equipment checks and maintain a clean, organized work area
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 3 years of material handling, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience preferred
Forklift experience required; forklift certification preferred
Strong attention to detail for accurate inventory tracking and order fulfillment
Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand or move for extended periods
Basic computer skills for inventory and warehouse systems
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrated reliability, organization, and time management skills
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Regular lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials
Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
Work performed in a warehouse or industrial environment
