Bastian Solutions, a division of Toyota Automated Logistics, is looking for a Financial Accountant. The role will be part of the Corporate Accounting team, reporting to the Controller and partnering with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and Operations across the organization. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Partner with the Corporate Accounting team to execute month‑end close procedures, including ERP module closures, manual journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with daily bank reporting, cash application, and coordination with AR/Collections for customer receivable settlements.
• Run, analyze, and maintain reporting of key financial information, metrics, and performance dashboards.
• Perform detailed reviews of financial results versus expectations, prior periods, and KPIs, and provide analysis to stakeholders.
• Use accounting knowledge and business understanding to provide input on key business decisions.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and deep dives into financial results and related processes as needed.
• Keep current with changing accounting regulations and ensure compliance with new transaction scenarios.
• Own Kaizen opportunities and continuous improvement efforts, partnering with support functions.
• Work with Project Accounting to ensure accurate results from project accounting activities.
• Contribute to mitigation of business and control risks.
• Support the growth of the organization through scalable SOPs.
• Collaborate with Internal and External Audit partners to ensure JSOX compliance and audit effectiveness.
• Assist in the completion of financial statement audits and related reviews.
• Meet with Business Unit leadership to review results, forecasts, and risk opportunities.
• Ensure timely execution of task list items and scheduled reports.
• Perform administrative duties punctually.
• Demonstrate positive attitude, good communication, mutual respect, and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely transactional accounting.
• Support cost savings and overall success of Bastian.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

• Travel to Bastian Solutions locations and customers – 10% of time.

• 4‑year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Experience in public accounting audit services.
• Strong customer service focus and positive, growth‑oriented mindset.
• Experience in a corporate business environment.
• Critical thinking and business acumen with understanding of accounting cycles.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Passion and energy to succeed, proactively seeking excellence.
