• Oversee accounting department employees and be responsible for monthly closing, annual report, billing, collections, budget preparation, and analysis.
• Oversee routine accounting tasks such as inventory management, tax auditing, assets accounting, and maintaining ledger charts.
• Meet accounting and financial objectives.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and business activity reports.
• Cost accounting and cost-benefit analysis.
• Review all insurance renewals including health insurance, workers' compensation, and liability insurance; negotiate with insurance providers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to increase productivity and maintain strong relationships.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• Ability to communicate in Japanese and English.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in cost accounting in manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Experience with US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive industries is a plus.
• This position includes manufacturing and office work; physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, lifting more with a lift assist, climbing stairs, and using hands for handling parts/equipment. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, depth, and peripheral vision.
