Glenmark Construction Co Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Field Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at commercial drywall construction sites. You'll take charge of field crews, ensure site productivity and safety, and coordinate directly with project managers and general contractors. Key Responsibilities- Arrive early to prepare the site for the crew's start time
- Oversee all Glenmark operations on the jobsite
- Ensure crew members and subcontractors are clocked in/out daily using Exaktime
- Manage crew workflow, assign tasks, and ensure daily work plans are executed
- Perform inspections for adherence to specifications, plans, and codes
- Coordinate required equipment and labor resources
- Monitor and maintain job costs within budget
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure use of protective equipment
- Conduct weekly toolbox safety talks and submit reports
- Handle incident reporting, weather delays, OSHA visits, and unusual site events
- Complete daily progress reports and track signed work orders
- Coordinate Glenmark subcontractor activity, schedules, and weekly payment draws
- Perform hands‑on work as needed (especially with smaller teams)
- Collaborate with PM to manage extras, job changes, GC communications, and documentation
- Attend weekly GC jobsite meetings or coordinate PM attendance
- Maintain job logs, quality control, and compliance with construction and manufacturer specs
- Ensure all Glenmark tools and vehicles are properly maintained and tracked
- Conduct timely employee evaluations as required
- Experience in a similar supervisory role or commercial drywall construction
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize daily field operations
- Competent in reading plans, change orders, and job specifications
- Able to work with tools when team size is small (
