Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support members and callers with patience and care in Indianapolis, Indiana. This Contract to Permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, managing a high volume of inquiries, and delivering accurate information across multiple channels. In this role, you will contribute to a mission-driven organization by providing thoughtful service, documenting interactions carefully, and ensuring each customer experience is handled with respect and efficiency.

This position is on-site with hours being 9:30am-6:00pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming customer inquiries by phone and other communication channels while providing courteous, solution-focused support

• Navigate multiple applications and internal systems at the same time to research questions, update records, and complete service requests accurately

• Investigate customer issues, identify practical resolutions, and route more complex matters to the appropriate team when necessary

• Record call details, account updates, and case activity with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Maintain a calm and attentive approach during challenging interactions, using effective listening and de-escalation techniques

• Adapt to updated procedures, changing priorities, and new tools while continuing to meet service expectations

• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to share information, resolve concerns, and support daily team goals

• Follow scheduled shifts consistently and contribute to dependable coverage for customers and internal operations
