We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment near Indianapolis, IN. This opportunity provides vital surgical support through 24-hour call coverage, working alongside an experienced healthcare team. This position is ideal for a Board Certified/Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon looking for a flexible and rewarding locum tenens role.

• Cardiothoracic Surgery: Provide comprehensive surgical care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) and other critical procedures.
• Patient Load: Manage an average patient volume of 5 cases, ensuring high-quality surgical outcomes.
• Call Coverage: Provide 24-hour call coverage to support a solo surgeon in a busy hospital setting.
• Collaboration with Support Staff: Work closely with a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to deliver efficient patient care and surgical support.

• Board Certification: Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Experience with CABG: Proficiency in Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) is required for this role.
• Licensing: Must possess an active Indiana medical license or be able to obtain one promptly.
• EMR System: Familiarity with eClinical
  
  Works (eCW) is preferred.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Candidates must be prepared for a streamlined credentialing process to ensure immediate placement.
