The position is for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to provide statewide medical oversight and clinical leadership for IU Health Lifeline EMS division, covering critical care air and ground transport. The role includes a blend of full-time clinical duties primarily at Methodist or Eskenazi Hospitals, academic responsibilities, and administrative time coordinating EMS policy and procedures. The position offers flexibility with scheduling, engagement with a large statewide EMS network, and affiliation with Indiana University School of Medicine.

We are seekinga Lifeline Medical Director to provide statewide oversight of IU Health Lifeline EMS division providing medical oversight for policies, procedures, clinical scope of care for Critical Care air and ground for all ages. This position will primarily be at Methodist or Eskenazi Hospitals but can also cover our community sites as well.

Position Details:

• Full-Timeclinical with academic responsibilities
• 72 hours a month of administrative time spend with Lifeline team
• Statewide division with 28 bases across the state
• Quarterly scheduling offering more flexibility
• Outstanding clinical opportunity with an academic system and affiliation with Indiana University School of Medicine
• Dually employed with the IU School of Medicine and IU Health Physicians

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be BC or BE in Emergency Medicine
• Strong interpersonal skills preferred
