University Heights Christian Church, a Restoration Movement congregation of 100+ years existence, is located on the south side of Indianapolis, Indiana, within close proximity of the University of Indianapolis. Once a church well connected to the immediate neighborhood, over time the church has experienced decline in attendance, as members have relocated to more outlying communities. However, the church's leaders remain committed to maintaining a presence in the area as a compassionate beacon for the light of Christ and His Word.
UHCC is a place where the Bible is faithfully taught and preached and where people are warmly welcomed and encouraged in their walk with the Lord. The church is currently engaged in numerous outreach efforts and projects intended to once again establish trust and relevancy to the surrounding community.

University Heights Christian Church is seeking a part‑time coordinator of music used in Sunday morning worship services. This person must be proficient in leading of singing and in either piano / keyboard or guitar accompaniment (or both). The position requires weekly communication with the Senior Minister in selecting theme‑based songs, finalizing sermon outline presentations for projection, and preparing song lyrics for projection.
The church leadership is interested in a person capable of gradually expanding the church's music ministry, eventually incorporating additional people who can use their giftedness vocally and instrumentally to the glory of God.
