The Estimator ACM will develop written proposals based on project specifications and project drawings; contact customers and conclude contracts as well as assist project management in project completion.

• Analyzes specifications and drawings
• Assists Architect/Specifier
• Extrapolates information for pricing
• Prepares vendor RFP information
• Prepares designer RFI submittals
• Checks approvals per bid
• Produces designs for some products
• Gets quotes from vendors
• Determines proper system/member size
• Consults in-house team input when needed
• Calculates accurate material requirements
• Prepares Scope Letter and Sales Proposal
• Asks the customer for the order
• Transfers information at Kick-off Meetings
• Assists drafting department with intent
• Assists with pricing change orders
• Attends product trade shows
• Coordinates with Sales Representative when needed
• Performs other similar or related duties as required or requested
• Gathers information for Project Management Department and staff
• Prepares estimates for metal panels and custom/other metal products

• Associate degree in Architectural, Engineering or related field from a two-year college, university or technical/trade school
• Eight or more years related industry experience
• Ability to use computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and AutoCAD
