Weare seeking a highly motivated Automation Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining automation systems with a focus on Rockwell automation programming. - Design program and troubleshoot
PLC-based control systems using Rockwell Automation software (Allen-Bradley) including
RS Logix Studio Logix and Connected Components Workbench - Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) in accordance with company standards
- Collaborate with project teams todevelop control system architectures and specifications
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics wiring diagrams and panel layouts
- Assist in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system design and configuration as needed including
Factory
Talk Ignition and ICONICS platforms - Provide technical support toclients and resolve any issues related to automation systems
- Participate in on-site commissioning start-up and training activities
- Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in automation and control systems
- Perform troubleshooting of controls systems network systems SCADA systems and other site specific problems
- Willingness to train less experienced engineers
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field or 4 years industry experience
- Solid understanding of PLCprogramming concepts and experience with Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix
Studio 5000 CCW) - Familiarity with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) procedures
- Some experience in SCADA and HMIdesign and configuration is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills andability to troubleshoot complex automation systems
- Possess familiarity and abilityto troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (up to 60% travel locally with occasional overnight stays)
- Ability to work independently andas part of a team
