Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer/Operator to support precision inspection activities for aerospace components at a key client facility in Indianapolis on 2nd shift. This role involves developing, optimizing, and executing CMM inspection programs using PC‑DMIS, performing machine setup, and delivering high‑quality inspection results that meet strict aerospace standards. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience with PC‑DMIS programming, a strong understanding of CMM operation, and familiarity with aerospace quality systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain CMM inspection programs using PC‑DMIS software
  • Set up and operate CMM equipment to perform detailed component inspections
  • Interpret technical drawings and inspection requirements to ensure dimensional compliance
  • Collaborate with process owners to incorporate existing data and optimize inspection routines
  • Document programming logic, inspection results, and machine setup procedures
  • Provide timely, accurate inspection feedback to support production and quality objectives
Core Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in CMM programming and operation using PC‑DMIS
  • Proven ability to set up and run CMMs independently
  • PC‑DMIS programming certification or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of dimensional inspection techniques and geometric tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Ability to work 2nd shift
  • Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related technical field
  • Familiarity with GE Aerospace quality standards or similar regulated environments
  • Experience in aerospace or defense component inspection
  • Experience running Brown & Sharpe machines
