Description

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to help shape the built environment — from concept to construction. In this role, you'll lead the design of roads, sites, drainage systems, utilities, and erosion control solutions across various projects.

If you enjoy collaborating with smart teams, solving real-world problems, and navigating the challenges of both public and private sector development, this is the place for you.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to deliver effective solutions
  • Tackle projects from concept sketches to final construction plans
  • Design and develop civil site plans, grading, stormwater systems, erosion control, and utility layouts
  • Navigate permitting and coordinate with planning boards, municipalities, and utility providers
  • Write and review technical documentation, including drawings and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with local ordinances and manage approval processes
  • Support construction with estimating, scheduling, and field coordination
  • Contribute to a positive team culture with project managers, engineers, and designers
  • Perform site visits, inspections, and field reports as needed
What You Bring
  • Strong communication skills — written and verbal — with a knack for explaining technical details clearly
  • Experience working with both public and private clients
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and stormwater modeling tools
  • A solid understanding of land development workflows and regulatory landscapes
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with attention to quality and deadlines
Requirements Education / Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college
  • Professional Engineer’s License required
  • 5+ years of experience on site/civil projects
  • Strong technical background
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AES, Water
