Roadway Design Project Engineer

We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join our Roadway/Highway Design team. This opportunity can be based out of any of our Indiana offices. The ideal candidate for this role will be a Professional Engineer with experience working on LPA and/or INDOT roadway design projects. We provide multi‑disciplined services for a variety of public agencies and private entities, including transportation design, water resources design, environmental analysis & permitting, construction engineering & inspection, traffic engineering & transportation planning, surveying, and land acquisition & appraisal. Our transportation design team offers a variety of services, but most of our work involves roadway and bridge design for local public agencies and state DOTs.

• Work on a variety of DOT and/or LPA roadway/highway projects
• Support project managers in the planning and execution of engineering projects
• Take a lead role in project planning, design, and implementation
• Manage project tasks, budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
• Delegate work to project team members
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations
• Perform detailed engineering analysis and design tasks
• Assist with proposals or funding applications
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Perform other duties associated with this role

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 8+ years of relevant civil engineering experience
• Proficiency with project scheduling tools and software
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Micro Station
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point
• Valid Driver's License
