Senior Project Manager - Forensic Engineer/Architect - Indianapolis, IN
Join American Structure point as a Senior Project Manager - Forensic Engineer/Architect in Indianapolis, IN. We are seeking experienced engineers and architects to conduct forensic investigations related to structural damage and deterioration, perform condition assessments, and design repair and rehabilitation solutions for existing facilities. Projects include commercial, residential, industrial, utility, and municipal structures.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing investigations, assessments, and expert witness assignments, including report and repair document preparation and potential testimony
- Leading multidisciplinary investigations and assessments, coordinating with staff and outside consultants
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Mentoring team members and delegating tasks effectively
- Developing repair solutions for damaged structures
- Overseeing project billing and financials
- Building and maintaining client relationships, developing new business opportunities
- Preparing proposals, contracts, and fee justifications
- Reviewing internal documents to ensure quality and accuracy
- Performing other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/move objects up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to climb ladders, work at heights, and access confined spaces
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture; relevant experience considered for other degrees
- Professional licensure (PE, NCARB Registered Architect, or equivalent)
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- AutoCAD/Revit experience a plus
- Experience in design and/or investigation of structures
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Position is mid-senior level, full-time, with opportunities for regional travel. The salary range is approximately $151,500 - $222,200 annually.
