Position Summary As the Technical Lead for Electronic Engine Controls supporting Rolls Royce AE family of engines, you will be leading a team of engineers supporting AE engine control programs through the complete system/software development lifecycle. In this role you will be interfacing with AE program team, external customers, Airworthiness, and others throughout the development lifecycle.  This is a technical leadership role with significant technical management responsibility, that is expected to work effectively in a challenging, self-directed, and agile environment and ensures robust, timely program delivery.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for leading a team through the system/software development phases from program planning through service release as outlined in ARP
4754 and DO-178

You will be communicating a clear view of all technical development activities and technical risks to team members and internal/external stakeholders

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and plans required to meet the program cost and schedules.

The ability to clearly communicate with internal and external customers is required.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2+ years of system or software development experience;
OrMaster’s degree in STEMPhD in STEM In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen Preferred Requirements:

Engineering Degree preferred

Project/Function Management Engineering Experience Demonstrated experience of successfully delivering engineering technical projects/tasks to time, cost and quality, and leadership of teams to do the same

Experience of collaboration with diverse teams

Experience with DO-178, ARP
4754, or similar certifications

Gas turbine engine controls experience

Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment; willingness to accept responsibility and take initiative; and drive to finish assigned tasks on schedule

An excellent command of the English language for both written and oral communication
