Position Overview:

This role serves as a critical link between investment operations and accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis of investment activities. The individual will also contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and achieving consistent, timely delivery of investment results across various reporting bases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare reconciliations related to investment activity for both US GAAP and statutory reporting.
• Assist the Investment Accounting team in clearing and reconciling transactions across multiple financial subledgers.
• Collaborate with third-party service providers and internal finance stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate recording of investment transactions in the general ledger.
• Monitor and substantiate investment-related suspense accounts on a monthly basis.
• Provide support for audit-related requests.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Investment Accounting or Investment Operations, with a strong background in reconciliation and general ledger processes.
• Solid understanding of investment accounting principles under US GAAP and statutory frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Hyperion tools (FCC, Essbase), People Soft, and data analysis platforms is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and automation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with Clearwater Analytics or similar investment accounting systems is preferred.
