Overview
Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of IEA’s finance and accounting initiatives, processes, and internal controls. This position manages a variety of responsibilities, interacts with multiple layers of management, and meets deadlines in a growing and profitable construction business within Mas Tec Clean Energy and Infrastructure.
Location: This position can be based in either our Indianapolis or Clinton, IN offices. It supports our business across the United States.

Responsibilities- Lead annual budgeting process and monthly re-forecasting of revenue and expense, and provide direction to the financial analyst.
- Lead consolidation and analysis of the mid-month estimate, month-end close, monthly forecast packages, annual plan and other reports for the Mas Tec Renewables group.
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly financial reports (including monthly variance analysis to budget and forecast).
- Perform cash flow forecasting and optimize certain cash management processes.
- Create and manage file sharing and storage structure for the Renewables finance and accounting team.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis for management.
- Support the Accounting department with various accounting and reporting deliverables for quarterly and annual financial statement filings.
- Support the management team with ongoing integration and standardization efforts with Mas Tec and Mas Tec Renewables across accounting processes, systems, internal controls, etc.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5 years’ experience in auditing, accounting and/or financial management, with a large SEC filer.
- Experience in the construction or related industry using percentage of completion accounting preferred.
- Auditing, accounting and financial reporting, financial modeling and cash flow forecasting experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex issues to senior management.
- Ability to work across various areas of the business, including effective communication with people of different backgrounds and levels.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability and desire to dig into details and challenge key inputs and assumptions and interpret financial data.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, Hyperion, and SharePoint user (super user a plus) and experience with large ERP accounting systems.
- Passionate about data quality.
- Team player - able to work well with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
