Physical Therapist (Skilled Nursing Facility)

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, using a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to restore muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, relieve pain, improve movement and function. The Physical Therapist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Physical Therapy. Therapy services will be provided in locations including skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long term care facilities, or home health care.

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy
• Current state license/certification
• Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board
• Preferable minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to provide therapy services in various settings (skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long term care facilities, or home health care)
• Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
