Family Advocate - Mid-Shift

Join our mission to save and enhance lives. As a Family Advocate, you will initiate donation conversations with families of potential donors in critical‑care settings, respond to referrals from local hospitals, and facilitate the donation process across central and northern Indiana.
About the RoleResponsibilities:
- Initiate conversations with families of potential organ, tissue, and cornea donors.
- Respond to and evaluate referrals from hospital staff.
- Support donor families throughout the donation process.
- Cover a large geographic territory primarily in central and northern Indiana.
This mid‑shift position works either 12:00 pm to 12:00 am or 1:00 pm to 1:00 am. It requires three 12‑hour shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts per month. One shift per week extends until 7 am to provide complete overnight coverage.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in social services, clinical, or related field.
- Experience in social work, medical social work, nursing, respiratory therapy, or similar roles preferred.
- Experience in crisis intervention, grief/loss, healthcare, or donation/transplantation preferred.
