As a School-Based Therapist, you’ll provide therapeutic services directly in schools, helping children and adolescents address behavioral health challenges, build resilience, and succeed academically and socially. * Key Responsibilities:

*** Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students in school-based settings.
* Conduct intakes, screenings, and comprehensive assessments according to state and agency standards.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring plans evolve with student needs.
* Participate in case staffings, treatment team meetings, and consultations with school personnel.
* Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ academic and social-emotional success.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
* Provide crisis intervention and coordinate emergency services as needed.
* Support students through transitions, including school changes, home challenges, or crisis situations.
* Facilitate psychoeducation groups, trauma-informed interventions, and evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT strategies.
* Represent Adult & Child Health professionally within the school and community.
* Participate in professional development, required trainings, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
* Other duties as assigned by leadership.
** Education and/or Experience

Qualifications:

*** Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
* Licensure in the state of Indiana as one of the following:  + Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)  + Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)  + Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)  + Or provisional licensure (PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT) with supervision.
* Must be willing to pursue additional state licensures if required.
* Must be comfortable providing telehealth services when needed (training provided).

* Additional Qualifications:

*** Expertise in working with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges.
* Strong collaboration skills for working with schools, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and trauma-informed practices.
* Ability to manage caseloads while maintaining compliance with documentation standards.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clinical reporting.
