Position: Medical Payment Posting Specialist
Description

Join our team as a Medical Payment Posting Specialist and make a direct impact on the financial success of leading healthcare organizations. In this vital role, you'll help ensure accurate and timely processing of medical payments-promoting a smooth revenue cycle and enhancing the patient experience.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8am
-5pm

Job Responsibilities:

+ Precisely post insurance and patient payments into billing systems, maintaining up-to-date records.

+ Analyze Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) to verify and allocate payments accurately.

+ Reconcile deposits and payment activity with patient accounts, resolving discrepancies quickly.

+ Proactively identify and address denials, underpayments, or posting errors to optimize account accuracy.

+ Collaborate with internal teams and insurance carriers to resolve payment inquiries efficiently.

+ Uphold industry standards by maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.

+ Support month-end close processes related to payment posting and financial reporting.

Requirements

+ Previous experience in medical payment posting or revenue cycle operations preferred

+ Knowledge of healthcare billing, insurance, and payment processing

+ Proficient with medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite

+ Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Detail-oriented professionals with strong analytical skills.

+

Experience with healthcare billing systems and EOB documentation.

+ A commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
