IU Health has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior HR Consultant to join our team that provides human resources support to Methodist Hospital, a level one trauma center, and University Hospital, which offers the latest advances in cancer research and leading-edge care.

This position is a full-time role working Monday-Friday in a hybrid capacity.

The Senior HR Consultant partners with stakeholders and hiring leaders to successfully execute business objectives. This role manages staffing models, employee relations, performance management, career coaching and development, and basic compensation and benefits processes. The Consultant will also perform workforce planning analysis, coach and assist leaders in selecting the best talent, address employee relations and performance issues, and lead system-wide HR projects such as annual performance reviews, employee engagement, and succession planning.

The role works independently and provides guidance to less experienced team members.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of relevant Human Resources experience
  • Experience supporting 1200+ team members in complex, matrixed environments
  • Experience in designing, developing, and executing HR programs
  • Knowledge of internet sourcing and recruiting best practices
  • Basic knowledge of compensation structures and application of related processes and guidelines
  • Ability to work independently, exercising professional judgment and diplomacy in handling complex issues and interruptions
  • Understanding of HR-related regulations and laws (e.g., FLSA, COBRA, ADA, FMLA)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
