Position: HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) MANAGER

Human Resources (HR) Manager

Global Manufacturing company in the Indianapolis area is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of HR at a non-union, manufacturing plant with over 1,000 staff. This facility is a relatively new operation equipped with state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing equipment and is expanding rapidly.

Base pay range: $90,000 – $100,000 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience).

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee staffing for 10+ HR Generalists & support staff, ensuring alignment of human resources policies and procedures with company goals.
  • Design and implement onboarding and training programs to integrate employees into company culture and operations.
  • Handle employee relations, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and resolution of workplace conflicts.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, including job evaluations, salary surveys, and benefits administration.
  • Other HR functions, such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, and HR strategy development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10–20 years of progressive experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial/warehouse environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership ability with strategic, tactical, and day‑to‑day HR decision‑making experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing HR practices and related labor regulations.
