Cloud Architect - Indianapolis

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Architect to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role is ideal for a senior-level architect with hands-on experience in Azure and AWS, strong expertise in containerization, and a proven track record of leading complex cloud initiatives, including cloud migration projects. The Cloud Architect will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable cloud solutions for large-scale enterprise environments.

• • Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for large-scale enterprise projects.

  • Architect and deploy scalable, secure cloud infrastructures using best practices.

  • Set up cloud environments securely in compliance with FedRAMP or Gov RAMP standards, ensuring regulatory adherence.

  • Lead cloud migration projects, including internal HEARTS, EPP, and Gateway Cloud Migration, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Collaborate with software development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines using Dev Ops practices.

  • Utilize containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) to streamline deployment and management.

  • Lead the design and implementation of highly available, resilient cloud solutions to ensure top-tier performance and reliability.

  Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.

  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

  • Proven expertise in designing secure cloud environments that meet FedRAMP or Gov RAMP compliance standards.

  • Strong background in Dev Ops practices and integrating CI/CD pipelines.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cloud migration projects in large-scale, enterprise environments.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

  Certifications (Required or Strongly Preferred):

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect

  • Microsoft Azure Architect Expert

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional cloud platforms or hybrid cloud strategies.

  • Familiarity with cost optimization techniques and cloud governance frameworks.

  • Prior experience working with public sector or government projects.
