Position:
Senior Associate Attorney

Client seeks a Senior Associate Attorney who is a motivated self-starter to be responsible handling Indiana foreclosure matters for the firm. Responsibilities will also include management of staff and the office with opportunities for Client Development as well.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation, review, and approval of foreclosure related pleadings.
• Handle all aspects of foreclosure matters including contested foreclosures.
• Participation in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, in-person hearings.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate.
• Member in good standing with of the State of Indiana Bar
• 8+ years minimum work experience handling Indiana foreclosures
• Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload.
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail, and phone).
• Provides exceptional client service.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance.
• Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.

This position is on-site/hybrid in the Indianapolis metro area.

What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position?

Active Indiana Bar Membership The candidate must be a member in good standing with the State of Indiana Bar. This is essential for practicing law and representing clients in Indiana foreclosure matters. Extensive Foreclosure Experience A minimum of 8 years of experience handling Indiana foreclosures is required. The role demands advanced knowledge and independent handling of foreclosure proceedings, including contested matters.

Strong Communication Skills The position requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in client interactions and legal documentation. Clear and professional communication is critical for client service and courtroom appearances. Ability to Manage and Prioritize a Heavy Caseload The role involves managing a large volume of cases efficiently. This requires strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
