What you will enjoy doing*
- You will lead and manage a team of inside and outside sales professionals focused on coaching, mentoring, and overall performance to support their success in role
- You will work closely with business leadership to create objectives and metrics for your team, establishing touch points as needed to achieve these goals
- Further, you will coordinate with Operations and Engineering business leaders to ensure plans are in alignment to meet business targets monthly
- Additionally, you will have a track record of presenting to executive leadership teams to provide market updates and suggest recommendations to support a growth strategy
- You will have the responsibility of managing strategic key accounts within this management role
- Also, you will be comfortable compiling and providing forecast updates, sales plans, price actions and growth reviews
- You will display a strong sense of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to manage the team and territory while communicating results for key sales metrics such as revenue growth, customer activity, and opportunity pipeline management and pricing
What Makes You Great
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or relevant field of study is required
- It is preferred that you will have minimum 2 years of direct experience working in the Thermal Spray Metal Powders market
- You should be able to demonstrate strong decision-making skills and business acumen with the ability to sell at the executive level
- You are self-directed and can organize and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives
- Proven experience working in cross functional teams across manufacturing, engineering and commercial
- Experience managing a team and driving results through a team environment is preferred, as well as experience in aerospace and manufacturing
- You will be required to travel at least 25%
