Landscape Operations Field Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Responsible for weekly payroll and overtime of assigned employees
• Scheduling of crew(s), equipment, and materials for work orders
• Training of all assigned employees of company Standard Operating Procedures, quality standards, driving safety, first aid, emergency preparedness, and company safety policies
• Conduct morning huddles to prepare crews for daily assignments
• Assure crew(s) are using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Assure all assigned equipment is operational and all safety devices are in place
• Track and confirm that all pre-start checklists are completed prior to each assignment
• Inspect that all crews are equipped with first aid kits and fire extinguisher
• Coordinate and manage the maintenance of all field equipment
• Train crew(s) and ensure proper equipment fuel mixtures are being used
• Ensure that all crews are equipped with extra parts and tools for minor repairs on sit
• Inventory of products and materials needed and used for jobs
• Training and tracking of hours of assigned crew(s)
• Reporting, tracking and closing of Customer Service Requests
• Client relationship and account management communications (i.e. confirming scheduled services with clients, communicating progress, closing out requests, etc)

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Approved to work in the US.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability based on company’s insurance requirements
• Ability to drive and back-up a truck and trailer combination
• 5 years experience in landscape maintenance
• 3 years of leading landscaping crews
• Ability to lift 25lbs and occasionally 50lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to wear required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

• Ability to be a self-starter and work with limited direct supervision
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification
• Bilingual, English and Spanish is a plus
• Available to work weekends, overtime, and after hours, as needed
• General knowledge and/or experience with general construction, hardscaping, and snow removal.
