As a Consulting Director, Land Services, your leadership will ensure clients navigate complex land rights, permitting, and compliance challenges, enabling critical infrastructure and renewable projects to succeed.

What You’ll Bring

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience (15+ years preferred) in land services or related consulting.
• Proven success in the renewable energy and/or utility industry.
• Strong negotiation skills for complex property and land agreements.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Preferred:

• Deep knowledge of renewable energy, gas, and electric utility sectors.
• Familiarity with courthouse record-keeping and title research.
• Understanding of property rights, eminent domain, and state/local ownership laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to win new business and grow revenue.
• Negotiate and secure land agreements, rights-of-way, leases, and fee purchases.
• Oversee title research, land valuation studies, and permitting processes.
• Lead consulting engagements in impact assessment and compliance.
• Build and manage a high-performance team of land agents and consultants.
• Collaborate with ERM Partners and global experts to deliver world-class solutions.
• Ensure projects meet health & safety, financial, and regulatory standards.

Compensation

For the Consulting Director, Land Services position, the anticipated annual base pay is $136,518 – $189,000 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
