Youth Development, Pastor / Ministry / Church
Our vision was born out of a national movement to see young people reached by the message of Jesus. It started in the 1940s with rallies, campus evangelism, and student conferences. Today, with ministries in over 105 locations across the United States, and in 119 other nations, our vision has remained: to see that every young person, in every people group, in every nation, can make an informed decision to become a follower of Jesus Christ and become a part of a local church.
Our Mission: YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement.
When you become a member of Central Indiana Youth For Christ's team, you are an integral and critical part of the mission.
Our CIYFC Culture
At CIYFC, our commitment is clear: we exist so that young people ages 11–19 may come to know Jesus and make Him known. We pursue this by mobilizing Christian adults to go where young people are—whether in schools, neighborhoods, or juvenile facilities—and build authentic, Christ-sharing relationships.
Our goal is to walk with them in real life, offering hope, truth, and a sense of belonging through relationships rooted in the Gospel. We believe transformation happens when caring adults engage youth consistently and holistically.
At CIYFC, we strive to cultivate a Christ-Centered culture marked by:
