Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Thoracic Transplant ICU night shift position, requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and an IN or compact RN license.

• Work in a Cardiovascular Thoracic Transplant ICU within a hospital setting
• Care for cardiac medical and surgical patients, including those with cardiac devices
• Assignment is for 13 weeks, night shift from 19:00-07:30
• Must be able to safely manage 2 ICU patients per shift
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Cardiac device management is an essential part of care responsibilities
• Local candidates are accepted with a reduction in the pay rate according to the state's radius rule
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required depending on the shift
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required as of July 1, 2023

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
