IU Health Medical Group is hiring! We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Trauma team at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN!
Position Details- PRN
- Day Shift
- Shifts available based coverage needs.
- Minimum of 12 hours every 6 weeks
- No call
- 100% inpatient
- Team includes 8 physicians and 16 advanced providers
- Orthopedic Trauma consults
- Inpatient Rounding
- Fracture/dislocation reductions
- Application of splints
- First Assist in the OR
- Joint Injections
- Joint Aspirations
- Wound Vac application and changes
- Traction Application
- ACNP, AGNP, or PA certification required
- At least 1 year of APP experience required
- APP experience in orthopedics preferred

IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, which will consolidate operations of the adjacent IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals. Construction for the new hospital is well underway and set to open in late 2027. It will feature three 16-story towers with 864 beds. IU School of Medicine is also constructing a medical education and research building directly east of the new hospital.
