Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Neonatology at Riley Children's Hospital, Indianapolis, IN

IU Health Physicians is hiring! We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Level 3 NICU at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

• Full-time, rotating schedule
• 10, 16 and 24-hour shifts (day shift for at least 6 months, then may transition to nights)
• 100% inpatient
• 60 bed level 4 NICU and 45 level 3 bed NICU
• Join a team of 30 physicians and 80 APPs

• Attend deliveries of high-risk neonatal patients
• Care for neonatal patients requiring ICU level care; develop plan of care
• Perform procedures including intubations, line placements, PICC, UAL/UVL, chest tube placement and management, lumbar puncture, and thoracentesis
• Collaborate with Riley's Neonatologists and subspecialty consulting physicians to provision clinical management for level 3 and 4 NICU patients
• Provide patient- and family-centered care
• Actively participate in quality and safety initiatives
• Participate in Department of Neonatology and Advanced Practice Provider service-specific educational and improvement initiatives

• Master's degree required
• NNP or PA-Neonatal certification required
• Open to new graduates with NICU experience
• NICU experience, ideally level 3-4, required
