Hours:

M-F 7:45am-4:15pm (0.9 FTE. 72 hours per pay period)

We are a destination infusion clinic for individuals looking for top patient care closer to home. Our department consists of nurses caring for patients with Neuro oncology diagnosis along with a large population of non-oncology infusion referrals from Neurology. Our clinic has 8 infusion chairs available for treatment.

Nursing skills gained on this unit:

* Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy experience with certification (required within 6 months)

* Ambulatory experience

* Palliative & hospice care experience

* Patient advocacy

* Training on hypersensitivity reaction

Qualifications

* Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN);
Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.

* Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.

* Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.

* Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

* Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
