Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

Position: Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN to join a high-acuity team requiring strong cardiovascular and open heart surgery experience.

Job Details

• Hospital setting within a Level 1 Trauma, Burn, and VAD/Transplant Center,

• Operates in a CVOR unit with 9 OR suites, including 2 hybrid rooms,

• Supports adult cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and burn surgical cases,

• Utilizes Da Vinci Robot for thoracic surgeries,

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 06:30-17:00,

• On-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute response time,

• Christmas holiday call coverage required,

Job Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license, verified via Nursys within 30 days prior to start,

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR/open heart nursing experience in a high volume and high acuity cardiovascular program,

• US Social Security Number and US address required,

• Primary source license verification needed within 30 days prior to assignment start,

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative care for complex adult cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and burn surgery patients,

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary surgical team,

• Scrub color requirements are not specified; follow hospital policy,

• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate based on the facility's radius rule,

• Covid vaccination is not mandatory,

• Candidates should discuss contract extensions with their managers 45 days before assignment end date,
