Must have an active Indiana, compact, or Indiana temporary license in hand prior to start.
Certifications:
BLS required. Must-Have:
- Previous experience in Level I Trauma settings preferred.
- Experience with heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO preferred.
Description:
This position is for a circulating nurse; scrubbing is not required. Charge pay is offered for this position. Candidates will be required to work 36-40 hours in a week. There may be approximately 100 hours of call over a 6-week period, with one call weekend required every six weeks. Floating to other operating room specialties is required. All staff must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Candidates must possess experience in heart and lung transplants and must be screened if they do not have previous Level I Trauma experience. All candidates must meet required certification and experience criteria. This facility has a total of 194 to 210 staffed beds and has an average daily census of 70-80. Charting system used is Cerner.
