** Position Summary
** The Image Technician maintains store image by painting the interior and exterior of store buildings, gas canopies, and other structures, and performs installation of interior graphics. This position is a Circle K designated safety sensitive position.
** Essential Job Functions*
* • Assists team in preparation and application of surfaces to be painted and general cleanup of retail facilities throughout the region.
• Helps team accomplish daily production, quality and safety requirements.
• Installs interior graphic package such as vinyl wall covering and hanging signage.
• Performs regular maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment hoses and nozzles, using solvent, brushes, and cloths. Replaces screens and filters as required. Ensures all equipment is kept safe and in proper working condition.
• Follows safety guidelines and job requirements utilized in day-to-day operations.
• Must be able to receive and complete work orders via e-mail.
• Attends and participates in scheduled training and safety classes.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as required.
• Must promote a positive and safe work environment for the entire team.
• Must be able to follow state, federal and company guidelines.
** Requirements*
* • High school diploma or GED.
• 2-5 year’s retail painting experience preferred.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Experience in interior graphic installation or wall covering is desired.
• Must be able to use both conventional and airless spray systems.
• Possess valid drivers’ license and be insurable as a driver.•
** Requires traveling to store locations throughout the Heartland Division business unit.*
* • This job may require out of town travel and overnight stays on occasion.
** Physical Requirements*
* • Lift and/or carry up to 80lbs from the ground to overhead.
• Push and pull with arms up to a force of 30lbs.
• Crouch, stoop, squat, and kneel.
• Carry, erect, and climb ladders.
• Exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures.
• Reach overhead and grasp objects.
• Bend and twist at the waist.
• Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift.
• Sit for extended periods of time.
• Stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work alone.
