* This 10-12-week internship is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:45pm EST. After successful completion of the internship program, opportunity for continued employment may exist. Our office is located at 500

E. 96th St., Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46240. This role is:

+ Office-based

+ Non-production roles are expected to be in the office 4+ days a week

+ Production role schedules are determined by Hiring Manager

* Primary Responsibilities:

*
* + Obtain Resident Life and Health Insurance License (pass state exam) within the first 30 days of employment

+ Learn about the various roles of an [inbound] insurance call center, including systems, processes, compliance expectations, product options, and sales techniques

+ Apply your learning by:

+ receiving and handling inbound calls from customers interested in purchasing insurance products

+ accurately transferring qualified calls to the appropriate team

+ answering transferred calls and complete customer applications

+ updating the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database with customer information

+ collaborating with others as part of a team or work independently to solve routine or complex problems

+ Participate in researching, preparing, and delivery of a final executive presentation

+ Mentoring, networking, and various enterprise wide opportunities
