What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken according to company and site-specific guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or directing individuals during incidents.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and management to address inquiries and provide information related to security-related matters.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
