2nd Shift – Diesel Technician Stoops Freightliner

Overview

The Diesel Technician diagnoses and completes repairs on heavy and medium duty trucks. Tasks include inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, installation and repair of components, engines, and systems related to heavy- and medium-duty vehicles.

Shift Premium Pay

4 Day Work Week

• Repair and maintain customer equipment using hand tools, precision measuring instruments and machine tools
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and examine parts for defects and excessive wear; repair engine/driveline/ABS-related issues using mechanical knowledge and computer-based diagnostic programs
• Perform routine maintenance checks including inspecting brake system, wheel bearings, electrical system, and air system

• Previous experience as a technician
• Ability to display knowledge of diesel and gas engines
• Ability to display knowledge of repair procedures
