Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated Mobile Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The individual hired will perform mechanical repairs on diesel‑powered mobile equipment, troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment, rebuilds, remove and install mechanical parts, and carry out preventative maintenance on all types of diesel‑powered equipment.

• Work safely at all times.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu, and Volvo quarry/construction equipment and diesel engines.
• Use a wide variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Weld, cut, and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with CAT, Komatsu, and Volvo quarry/construction equipment and diesel engine repairs.
• Certification from a trade school preferred.
• Previous mining experience a plus.
• Bilingual a plus.
• CDL and a clean driving record.

This is a full‑time position that regularly requires 40+ hours per week in a surface and/or underground mine setting. The role frequently operates heavy equipment.
