Pay Range: $80,000 – $100,000 per year

Koorsen is seeking an experienced Security Systems Designer/Estimator to join our team in Indianapolis. The role involves providing engineering and design support for integrated security systems, assisting sales staff with estimates and product selection, and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality projects.

• Provide engineering and design support for integrated security systems (access, video, intrusion).
• Assist sales staff with estimates and product selection to meet customers’ needs.
• Provide technical support to technicians and customers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to support project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and co‑workers in a professional manner.
• Demonstrate openness to continual learning.
• Understand and follow all safety regulations and practices.
• Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values.
• Perform any other duties deemed appropriate by management.

• 1–2 years of experience in security system design and/or estimating.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Passed drug and background screenings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite:
  Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to perform some repetitive motions while using a computer.
• Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises.
• Regularly required to talk or hear, sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
