Work Hours: Monday through Friday (3:00pm – 11:30pm)
Peak Season (July-December) Requirements: Mandatory overtime may include some Saturdays and Sundays.
Position: Warehouse Team Lead
The BSN SPORTS team is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to positively impact athletes, coaches, and sports teams by supporting the use of cutting-edge apparel and equipment.
How You’ll Make an ImpactAs a member of the BSN Sports team, the Warehouse Team Lead is a critical role within the warehouse and shipping departments. You will ensure all inventory is accounted for accurately and placed in the most efficient locations to support the Distribution Center’s flow.
What You Will Do on a Daily Basis- Train Warehouse Associates to research and correct displaced, mislabeled, and missing products; perform replenishments, cycle counts, stock checks, resolve inventory discrepancies between system and physical counts, and resolve order issues.
- Lead the team by example regarding attendance, performance, productivity, and safety.
- Collaborate with other departments to problem-solve orders with inventory issues or changes needed.
- Ensure the department’s daily responsibilities are completed by the end of shift; provide support in any area needed.
- Utilize personal protective equipment as required for personal safety.
- Experience with leadership, a positive attitude, and aptitude for managing teams
- Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a structured and process-oriented environment
- Ability to multi-task and solve problems
- Ability to work seasonal mandatory overtime as needed and maintain excellent attendance
- Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to documents in English
- Effective communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders in English
- Participation in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing insights and feedback in English
- Learn tasks quickly, be driven, personable, team-oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- HS Diploma or GED (required)
- Previous warehouse experience is a bonus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus
- Preference given to candidates with related experience
- At least 2-3 years of continued work experience
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to stand, perform repetitive movements, and lift no less than 15-50 lbs. The role may require working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
