Education/
Experience:
- Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program
Computer
Skills:
- Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities:
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Summary:
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, adhering to principles and practices of occupational therapy, and following Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Deliver quality patient care, including ongoing treatment, supervision of Rehab Techs (if required), and case management. Maintain professionalism and compliance with all regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of a licensed OT, enhance patients' functional abilities and skills.
- Develop and maintain a strong occupational therapy assistant program.
- Improve clinical, professional, and management skills through interaction, self-study, and continuing education.
- Maintain valid state license and stay informed about issues affecting occupational therapy and healthcare.
- Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and delivery models to provide quality, compliant care.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively in English, including understanding instructions, charts, and reports.
