Iowa Sales Representative – Dinges Fire Company

Apply to be a sales representative for Dinges Fire Company, a leading provider of fire protection equipment and services in Iowa.

Plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality of product and service delivery. Develop relationships with all fire and EMT decision‑makers in the designated territory, building a ‘Help First’ relationship to make their jobs easier, safer, and more comfortable.

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies
• Schedule sales activities
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers
• Develop and present company products and services to current and potential clients
• Negotiate with clients
• Develop sales proposals
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• Follow up on sales activity
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• Participate in sales events and training

• All salespersons are 1099 independent contractors. Pay is comprised entirely of commissions with unlimited potential! Earn approximately 40% of the gross profit on each sale.
• Full‑time or part‑time opportunities; many representatives are also firefighters. While being a firefighter is not mandatory, it is highly recommended.
• Representatives own the sales in their territory, a unique concept in the Fire and EMT industry that increases business value as sales grow.
