Overview

The City of Indianola (pop. 16,069) is a growing community with a historic downtown, located approximately 15 minutes south of Des Moines. It is a safe community with Midwestern values, friendly people and excellent schools. Indianola, which is home to Simpson College, the world-renowned Des Moines Metro Opera and the National Balloon Museum and U.S. Ballooning Hall of Fame, is known for its excellent access to outdoor activities, a nice trail system, five major parks and two golf courses.

The community welcomes thousands of visitors annually who come to Indianola to enjoy major events such as the National Balloon Classic, the Warren County Fair and other events.

• Provides excellent customer service to all members, guests and program participants. Conducts tours in response to potential members' interests and needs.
• Follows all policies and procedures of membership guidelines when dealing with a member's account, payment, termination and hold policy.
• Monitors facility to ensure a clean and safe hazard-free environment and address safety issues as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

• 18 years of age.
• Must have basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Ability to build rapport, create relationships and motivate others.
• Work effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perceptions.

Starting salary is $11.00/hour. This is a part-time position, with availability to work evenings and weekends.
